Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using our website, mobile application, or employee intranet. By accessing or using any of our platforms, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

Sport Cafe S.A. is a retail company registered in Greece, active since 1996 in the sale of sports, casual, and lifestyle clothing and footwear. Our services are available across Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of:

• sportcafe.gr – Public e-commerce website and online store
• intranet.sportcafe.gr – Internal intranet platform for Sport Cafe employees
• The Sport Cafe mobile application for iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store)

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting sportcafe.gr, using the Sport Cafe mobile app, or accessing intranet.sportcafe.gr, you confirm that you:

• Are at least 16 years of age, or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
• Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
• Agree to be bound by them and by our Privacy Policy

Sport Cafe S.A. reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our platforms after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

3. Use of Our Platforms

3.1 Customer Website & App (sportcafe.gr)

You may use our website and mobile app for lawful personal shopping purposes only. You agree not to:

• Use our platforms for any fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute our content without written permission
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or disruptive software
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our website or app

3.2 Employee Intranet (intranet.sportcafe.gr) & Employee App

Access to intranet.sportcafe.gr and the employee-facing section of the mobile app is restricted to authorised Sport Cafe S.A. employees only. By using the intranet, you agree to:

• Use it solely for legitimate work purposes related to your role at Sport Cafe S.A.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share access with any third party
• Comply with all applicable company IT policies and data handling procedures
• Not download, copy, or share confidential company data outside of authorised channels
• Report any suspected security incidents or unauthorised access immediately to IT

Sport Cafe S.A. reserves the right to monitor intranet usage for security and compliance purposes in accordance with applicable Greek and EU employment law.

4. Account Registration

To place orders or access certain features, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration
• Maintaining the security of your password
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at [email protected]

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Orders, Pricing & Availability

All orders placed through sportcafe.gr or the Sport Cafe app are subject to acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.

• All prices on sportcafe.gr are displayed in Euros (€) and include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated
• Prices and product availability may change without prior notice
• A contract of sale is only formed once we send you an order confirmation email
• We deliver to Greece, Cyprus, and Bulgaria. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout

6. Payment

Payments on sportcafe.gr and the Sport Cafe mobile app are processed securely by Stripe, Inc., a leading global payment processor.

• Accepted payment methods include major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express) and any other methods offered at checkout
• All transactions are encrypted via TLS/SSL
• Sport Cafe S.A. does not store your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials
• By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided

7. Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights:

• You have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving any reason
• To exercise this right, notify us at [email protected] before the 14-day period expires
• Returned items must be unused, unwashed, in their original condition and packaging, with tags attached
• We will refund the full purchase price, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return
• The cost of return shipping may be borne by the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent
• Certain items (e.g., underwear, swimwear for hygiene reasons) may not be eligible for return — these will be clearly indicated at checkout

8. Product Information

We make every effort to display our products accurately, including colours, sizes, and descriptions. However:

• Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings
• Sizing may vary between brands — please refer to the size guide on each product page
• We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time

9. Mobile Application – iOS & Android

The Sport Cafe app is available on:

• Apple App Store – for devices running iOS. Subject to Apple’s App Store Terms of Service: apple.com/legal
• Google Play Store – for Android devices. Subject to Google Play Terms of Service: play.google.com/terms

Sport Cafe S.A. is the developer and distributor of this app. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not party to these Terms and have no obligation regarding the app or its content. Any claims related to the app must be directed to Sport Cafe S.A., not to Apple or Google.

The app may require permissions on your device (e.g., notifications, location). These permissions are optional and you may disable them at any time in your device settings. We do not access any device data beyond what you explicitly authorise.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on sportcafe.gr, intranet.sportcafe.gr, and the Sport Cafe mobile application — including text, images, logos, product photography, UI design, and software — is the property of Sport Cafe S.A. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any of our content without prior written consent from Sport Cafe S.A.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website and app may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (e.g., Stripe, Google Maps, social media platforms). Sport Cafe S.A. is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review their respective policies before interacting with them.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sport Cafe S.A. shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our platforms
• Temporary unavailability or technical errors on our website, app, or intranet
• Loss or corruption of data not caused by our gross negligence
• Damages resulting from third-party services (including Stripe payment failures or carrier delays)

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by Greek or EU law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our platforms are provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranty that the website, app, or intranet will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time without notice.

14. GDPR & Data Protection

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679). By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece and applicable European Union regulations, including but not limited to:

• E-Commerce Directive – 2000/31/EC
• Greek Consumer Law (Law 2251/1994 as amended)

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Athens, Greece, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
